Attention Analytics

AI-powered computer vision technology that measures audience attention, dwell time, and demographic data from digital signage screens.

Attention Analytics refers to the use of AI-powered computer vision technology to analyse audience behaviour in front of digital signage screens and retail displays. By processing camera feeds in real-time, attention analytics systems can measure metrics including: the number of people who viewed a screen (impressions), the duration of attention (dwell time), the estimated demographic profile of viewers (age range, gender), and emotional response indicators.

For retail media networks, attention analytics transforms in-store screens from a broadcast medium into a measurable, accountable advertising channel comparable to digital online advertising. Advertisers can receive verified audience data — how many people actually looked at their advertisement, for how long, and what the demographic composition of the audience was — enabling proper CPM-based billing and campaign optimisation.

Vision analytics data is processed entirely on-device (edge computing) to protect shopper privacy — no images or personally identifiable information are stored or transmitted. Only anonymised aggregate metrics are reported. The Adflux Attention Analytics module provides real-time audience measurement across entire screen networks, with campaign-level reporting and integration with proof-of-play data.
