Adflux CMS offers two purpose-built audience analytics solutions for in-venue digital signage networks — one camera-based, one camera-free. Both are privacy-safe, Australian Privacy Act compliant, and built to give advertisers, retailers, and venue operators the audience intelligence they need to make every screen count.
Proof-of-play tells you a screen played content. It does not tell you who was watching, how long they looked, or whether the message landed. Adflux closes that gap — connecting proof-of-play with real-world audience presence, attention, and engagement so every screen can justify its CPM.
Adflux CMS offers two distinct audience analytics solutions, each designed for a different deployment context. Both operate on a privacy-by-design architecture, both are compliant with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and both integrate natively with Adflux CMS for unified reporting.
Camera-Based Audience Intelligence
A camera-based platform that uses AI and computer vision to anonymously measure who is watching your screens — delivering verified impressions, demographic insights, dwell time, and dynamic content triggering. All processing happens at the edge; no images, biometric data, or PII are ever captured or transmitted.

All measurement is delivered against the COFFEE framework — the industry-standard model for in-store digital media measurement.

Adflux audience measurement is built on a cloud-oriented, serverless framework hosted on AWS and Microsoft Azure — designed to be interoperable with digital and out-of-home (OOH) standards while prioritising a privacy-by-design approach.
Data is transmitted from endpoint players directly to Adflux servers via HTTPS. The solution does not require access to the retailer's internal network — relying on web protocols exposed via cloud-based firewall services.
The production network is strictly segmented into different zones based on security levels. Sensitive systems reside in dedicated, isolated computing environments to reduce the risk of unauthorised access.
Data at rest is protected with AES 256-bit encryption. Key management is handled through Azure Key Vault and AWS Key Management Service, ensuring secure rotation and storage of cryptographic keys.
Access is governed by Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and the principle of least privilege — ensuring personnel only access information required for their specific job functions.
Customer data is typically retained for 30 to 90 days post-contract for audit purposes. Secure deletion procedures are documented and executed upon contract termination or customer request.
The environment is protected by outbound firewall filters and undergoes periodic manual log analysis and annual third-party penetration testing to identify and remediate potential vulnerabilities.
